هذه المدونة بالأساس عن الديكور و التصميم الداخلي و العمارة و الفن و عن أشياء أخرى جميلة قد تتوه في زحمة الحياة. الهوية عندي لا ترتبط بالوطن الذي أعيش فيه بل بالوطن الذي يعيش فينا. هي النفس و ما تهوى… هي شوارع مشيتها وبلاد زرتها…أهل وأصدقاء و غرباء…هي حكايات جدتي و هي كتب قرأتها و أغاني سمعتها…هي الأشياء البسيطة التي تكون بالنسبة لي كبيرة، هي خليط من ألوان و نغمات و نكهات و أشياء أتفرد بها. و المنزل في رأيي هو لكل واحد منا وطنا يجب أن يكون مميزا – يجب أن يكون إنعكاسا لهوية كل من فيه، حتى و إن عكس إختلاف ساكنيه، و لأن الحياة تأتي كل يوم بجديد، فداخلي دائما في حراك و تحفز و أظل يوميا في رحلة للبحث عن الهوية و أعيد دوما تشكيل وطني- أقصد منزلي. فأهلا بكم معي و يسعدني أن أكون معكم في رحلاتكم الخاصة للبحث عن الهوية

This blog is essentially about decor, interior design, architecture, art and other beautiful things that may get lost in the business of everyday life. Identity for me is not related to the homeland that we live in, but rather the homeland within us. It is what one’s self fancies… it is streets that I have walked down and countries I have visited…family, friends and strangers…my grandmothers stories, books I have read and songs I have listened to…it is the small the simple things that are for me big; it is the fusion of colours, tunes, flavors and other things that are unique to me. The home in my opinion is for each one of us a homeland that should be special – it should be a reflection of the identities of those living in it – even if it reflects their differences. And because life brings something new every day, I am constantly being moved, shaken and intrigued to continue my search of identity and reshaping my homeland – I man my home. So welcome on board and I would be happy to be with you in your personal journeys in search of identity.

PS I may re-write all the above a few more times. As I said, life brings something new everyday!
